About these terms

Iron Pillar is made by Aidan Dombrowski ("we," "us"). These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the agreement between you and us for your use of the Iron Pillar app. If you downloaded Iron Pillar from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Who can use Iron Pillar

You must be at least 13 years old to use Iron Pillar. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and they agree to these terms on your behalf.

Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password and contact us. You can delete your account at any time from Account Details in the app.

Health & safety

• Exercise carries a risk of injury. Use proper form, work within your limits, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
• Calorie estimates, distances, pace, and other figures are approximate. GPS accuracy depends on your device and surroundings.
• Workout details generated by AI for Pro subscribers can contain mistakes. Use your judgment and check anything that doesn't look right.
• Pay attention to your surroundings during outdoor activities. Don't look at your phone while crossing streets, cycling, or in traffic.

Iron Pillar Pro

Iron Pillar Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that adds AI-generated workout details to custom workouts. It's offered monthly and annually at the prices shown in the app, which may vary by country.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. If you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If we change the price of Pro, Apple will notify you and ask for your consent where required before the new price applies.

Deleting your Iron Pillar account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it with Apple.

Acceptable use

When using Iron Pillar, don't:

• Use names, usernames, photos, or workout names that are offensive, harassing, or impersonate someone else.
• Harass or bully other users.
• Try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with the app's servers or security.
• Manipulate XP, streaks, badges, or subscriptions through bugs or unauthorized tools.
• Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the app or its workout content, except where the law allows.
• Use the app for anything illegal.

Your content

You own the content you add to Iron Pillar, like your profile photo, custom workouts, and bug reports. You give us permission to store, process, and display it as needed to run the app, for example showing your name and avatar to friends you've added. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we're required to keep by law or that remain briefly in backups.

The workout library, app design, and other content we provide belong to us and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the app.

Third-party services

Some features rely on other companies, such as maps from Apple and optional WHOOP integration. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. We aren't responsible for third-party services, and features that depend on them may change if those services change.

Apple App Store

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Iron Pillar or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and isn't responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you aren't in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and aren't on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Ending your use

You can stop using Iron Pillar and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk. If we close your account for a reason other than a violation, we'll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

Disclaimers & liability

Iron Pillar is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any fitness result will be achieved.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for injury resulting from exercise you choose to do. Our total liability for any claim relating to Iron Pillar is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Iron Pillar Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the effective date and let you know in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Iron Pillar after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
